Deleting Roles

This topic describes the procedure to delete roles .

Before you begin this task: You must have the role of a systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to delete roles.

You can delete Custom roles or Organizational roles only and the following roles cannot be deleted. Any other role selected along with them also cannot be deleted.

  • Application roles
  • systemAdmin
    You can delete single or multiple roles as described below:
    Navigate to CUSP > My Applications, click (User Manager) and select Roles - Roles View or Roles - Users View or Roles - Tasks View in the User Manager window.

  • To delete a single role, follow the below steps:
  1. Right-click a role and select Delete option. You are prompted with a confirmation message.
  2. Click Yes to proceed and No to cancel the operation. The selected role is deleted.
  • To delete multiple roles, follow the below steps:
  1. Select multiple roles by holding the CTRL key , right-click and select Delete option. You are prompted with a confirmation message.
  2. Click OK button to proceed or Cancel button to abort the operation. Selected roles are deleted.
